Recognition for the work accomplished
Over the years, SOPAR-Bala Vikasa has received various awards in Canada and in India. This recognition demonstrates the efforts we have put into making our organization a leader in the international development community. We remain inspired to pursue our mission.
In December 2017, SOPAR-Bala Vikasa’s founders received the Meritorious Service Cross by the Governor General of Canada. This honour is presented to Canadians who, through their exceptional professionalism and innovative actions, serve as examples and role models for their community.
“SOPAR-Bala Vikasa has achieved great results with the support of thousands of Canadians who believe in international solidarity. These medals are the reward of our collective action. We thank all of you.”
